MLPs & REITs are not doing much. MLPs are taking a rest after their long run this year (up pennies today) while REITs need a rest after gains in the last couple off weeks (index is off 2). Junk bond funds are mixed to higher. The VIX, volatility index, is up a fraction but staying close to the 25 level it has gotten used to. On this quiet day, Treasuries rose ever so slightly. The yield on the 10-year Treasury bond is down 2 basis points to 3.83%.
