Futures slip after Goldman Sachs earnings

Stocks may be weak at the opening, but Dow futures are only down 20 (still very near 10K).

Goldman Sachs (GS), now a bank, reported earnings more than doubled in Q3. EPS were 5.25, easily beating forecasted EPS of 4.18. Higher earnings came form trading gains & investments with the company’s own money (that may be non reoccurring). GS should have a very good day.

Chances are markets will continue higher. The main news story overnight was Dow hitting 10K which should bring back more buyers. We'll see how long the enthusiasm lasts.

This is an early post, I expect to be out for the rest of the day. If the market gains, have a good day!
