Markets rise on declining jobless claims

Markets are substantially higher on favorable jobless figures.  However, sales of new homes declined sharply as housing is stuck in it sideways rut.  Volume is light, so don't make too much of the triple digit gain for the Dow.  Sorry, have to run to see the dentist.  I had a regular post but Blogger (from Google) chewed it up.  Hope the dental visit goes well.  Here's a quick chart for the MLP index:
