Dow slips from 2009 high

Last week was a bad week, Dow pulled back 260 from its interim high at 8.8K. High yield securities felt the pain of selling. The Alerian MLP Index, in a stellar year, lost 11 from its interim high. REITs & junk bond funds also fell. Nothing special going on, maybe they're starting to be hit with a dose of reality. Massive gov spending will be tough for the economy to absorb. The yield on the Treasury 10 year bond ended pretty much where it started the week, at 3.79%. More reality may depress markets this week.

Alerian MLP Index --- 1 month

Dow Jones REIT Index --- 1 month

Barclays High Yield Index - 1 month

10-Year Treasury Yld Index - 1 month
